I have taken it upon myself to unilaterally try new forum software for VincentMacropod.com. 

There are two distinct advantages of this forum software.  One- no seperate user logins.  If you're registered with this site, you automatically have an account on the forums.

Two, the forum is wrapped in the VincentMacropod.com theme. 

The disadvantage of that is that we'll have to make it fit by removing the right hand navigation bar from the /forum pages.  I haven't figured out how to do that yet, and that might requre a few minor corrections to the comicpress code.

If this is an unmitigated disaster, fear not, the original SMF forum exists and is alive and well, just hibernating.  I can uninstall this and re-awaken that beast if this durns out poorly.  However, I quite like the integrated look of it.

I like this new software. It's nice to eliminate the multiple registrations, and it does look pretty keen when wrapped in the webpage theme.

Per your thoughts on the forum layout, I have removed the sidebar from the /forum pages. I'll throw something together in the form of a header/footer navigation bar to go in its stead. That should be a fair enough compromise, I think.

Also: I'll work on prettying up this particular forum theme this weekend.
