Thanks to Hank, we now have new forum software running on vincentmacropod.com. Now when you register in Wordpress, you will be automatically registered on the forum. Doesn’t that save a bit of a headache? Hooray for an integrated userbase!

As you may have noticed, comments on Vincent Macropod allow you to use avatars next to your posts. Gravatars are globally recognized avatars (that is not to say that Germany will hail your avatar at the next G8 summit, but we can all hope). The Gravatar site has a pretty snazzy set-up that allows you to upload images & crop avatars to the appropriate size–so no fooling around with Photoshop necessary, if that’s your game. Here are some handy Gravatar-sized avatars for your perusing pleasure.

Okay, so no new comic this week after all! I was going to bring it to the copy shop just now, but my car is frozen solid and won’t start. Basically, it’s full of ice. In mid-March! Hilarious.

Fun fact: I draw these too big for my scanner. I tried the obvious angle of “drawing them small enough for my scanner” once, but hated it. And I lack the photoshop skills, I fear, to scan them in pieces and then put them together in a way that looks good. So each week, I photocopy the original, scaling it down, and then scan that in. Except this week, because of that Hell thing I mentioned.
